Took my sons car here to have 4 new tires put on. When he drove it home the car started shaking violently around 55mph sending him partially off the road. Had him take the car to a competent mechanic who informed him not 1 of the 4 tires were balanced properly. Properly balancing a tire is probably one of the easiest things you can do as a mechanic. Lesson learned.
I went to three different places to get the remote starter put my Toyota Tundra. None of these places could do it. After talking to Johnston Automotive he said he could do it. It worked fine except for a couple bug with the communications. He had to get a new cable. This was not Larry’s fault. The vendor sent him a faulty cable which he gladly replaced. It works great now. I strongly recommend him to do any remote work.
My car broke down in -30 and Larry got my car in and fixed it within 24 hours of me dropping it off so I can return to work in no time. You're the best mechanic in central Illinois. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you for getting my car running. Till next time good buddy
