I am writing to formally notify you that I am transferring my care total different hospital and will no longer be seeing Ms. Goodman or Mr.McArthur Throughout my time under their care, I have felt neglected and unsupported. While others may praise the doctor, I did not receive the attention or care that I needed. I sought treatment under Ms. Goodman hoping for a more attentive approach, but because she works under or alongside Mr.McArthur, the same lack of proper care persisted. Dr. Oakley is the exception! He is absolutely amazing however most of the adult inpatient neurologists are not my favorite. They often jump to conclusions and don't ask any clarifying questions either. The communication was severely lacking. Leading to issues with my medical records that took several months to resolve. After requesting someone from pediatrics neurology I found them to be much more effective/research based and generally better at communication.
I am truly grateful to have Dr. Halima Amjad as my physician at Johns Hopkins. As a specialist in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and neurology, she embodies the vision of excellence that every patient hopes for. Her inquisitive nature and intelligence stand out in the complex world of healthcare. Dr. Amjad takes the time to thoroughly understand m... read more
I had Chiari Malformation brain surgery here July 2020 during covid alone, my hubby stayed in a near hotel until I was able to travel back home. The staff and nurses were all AMAZING! My surgeon was Dr Jackson.
Light at North Carolina Street is terrible you wait 15 minutes for it to change and its always backed up. Security here is unreasonable and ignorant to you also takes their time searching through everything and wants to criticize everything you do when there's no weapons or threats on you in the first place! Appointments also take forever to get in to see a special doctor for. I'm already looking into transferring services for my son somewhere else. I'm totally done with this place after today.
Johns Hopkins Neurology has a 2.7 star rating with 30 reviews.
