My son was transferred to Johns Hopkins Children ER from GBMC, with a severe spleen laceration that happened during a football game. The staff could not have been more compassionate, helpful, and professional! They were very good at explaining everything to us, which was very reassuring during a time when we were unsure as to whether he would need to have emergency surgery. Wonderful doctors & nurses fixed my baby girl's broken arm. John's Hopkins is a Wonderful Hospital and I would recommend to any parent that has a child in need of surgery to take their child here.... They are very caring for their patients and for the families concerns. They keep you informed on your child's condition and on their decision making progress that benefits your child the most.. AWESOME HOSPITAL
This place is amazing! The staff are courteous and very kind. They truly made me feel at ease and believe that she is in great hands.

My Grandson was just released after 18 days. From day one they tried to make him feel as comfortable as possible. So many different doctors,nurses,and specialist. He is now on a road to recovery. Thank you so much for the wonderful care. By the way, 9S Nurses you ROCK! from Derek and his Mom Mom.
My son had surgery just yesterday at Johns Hopkins and we could not have asked for a more friendly staff! We were on the 4th floor and everyone we met made us feel welcomed!! From the front desk, to the nurses, our Doctor, Dr. DiCarlo, even the anesthesiologist! They offered him toys as soon as he walked in the door, pulled him in a wagon to make him smile, and even after I went with him to put him to sleep I walked out and started to cry, but a nurse stayed with me and gave me a hug. Our preschooler had a procedure and stayed overnight in 9 South recently. The facilities and nursing staff were amazing. I also need to mention the Prep and PACU staff, who took great care of our little one and made us feel at ease. And obviously, the doctors at Hopkins are top notch. Everyone helped make a terrible situation manageable and as comfortable as possible. My daughter is a changed kid, now that her problems have been fixed.
My son broke his jaw in 2 places and had to be transferred to john Hopkins to under go surgery . Only had to stay 2 nights but they are very professional and clean and the nurses was outstanding.
