Floor doctor and nurses have been amazing. Some disappointing moments, but overall excellent experience.
Loved this place!! Being new to area we did not know that other hospitals aren't equipped to handle chrildren emergencies and took our son to Largo Med wjen he fell off trampoline in the evening. Xrays showed he broke his upper arm right in the middle of the bone. Well they splinted him and then informed us that due to hospital politics they could not give a referal to a pediatric orthopedic....what??? Well went home. The next morning his hand was swollen and he was in so much more pain. Couldn't stand to move arm at all!!! ... read more

They are so honest and do not sugar coat the explanations what could happen . I would recommend this hospital to anyone .
My wife and i have no words to express our feelings, and how satisfied we are with the way we were treated by their staff ..AND to say the truth it wasn't about us, it was about my daughter's recovery .... My son was in a car accident and was taken to Bayfront by helicopter and transferred to all children. He was in critical condition he was minute to minute care because they didn't think he was going to make it. Staff there was amazing. My boy home and back to normal. Still going through therapy however walking and talking like any other 11 year old. It was home away from home. They were like family.
