Howard County General is the absolute worst. I witnessed professional indifference and incompetence in a 49 day period. Highlighted by a radiologist who violated a myriad of procedures as he jerked a catheter from my father's neck causing him to have a stroke. I also observed a surgeon "dislodge" a stomach peg used for feeding and not report what he had done. His colleagues continued to pour nepro into the peg which now went directly into my father's abdomen causing his death. He was admitted with pneumonia which was remedie... read more
Yesterday my son had tubes in his ears. I know this isn't considered a big scary surgery, but for a 3 year old strange places can be unnerving. He loved the toys in the waiting area. Was excited to get a "super hero bracelet" from the admission staff. Samantha (nurse) who gave him "spider man" socks and "a cool dog shirt" was amazing. Dr. Patel (anesthesiologist) who got him excited for "bubble gum air" was top notch!
