My daughter is usually afraid of doctor visits an tonight she wasn't. All thanks to the amazing doctor who took the time to play with her, act silly and be her friend! With every nurse/doctor she saw tonight they each became a friend to her! :) Our visit was very pleasant an I'm thankful for that.
This place is PATHETIC. I took my daughter to get blood work and the people did not know what they were doing and were not successful. They were not friendly. They poked my daughter multiple times and did not act like they were working on a child. To say I'm mad is an understatement.
Friendly staff that great you with a smile, wonderful caring nurses, and amazing doctors who are always learning and working hard to give our children the technology, medications, and tools to live productive lives.

I'm currently in ACH! Everyone that has walked into our room had been a delight. All the nurses and doctors have taken time to listen, communicate and explain. We came through the ER and were greeted with compassion and understanding.
All the nurses were awesome as well as the doctors!!
I've been to the er with my kids on numerous occasions over the past 20 years. Last night was by far the worst I've ever experienced! It was a complete waste of time. My child was dehydrated, constipated, had a high fever and had swelling & redness under her eye. Her pediatrician sent us. They literally did nothing except give her Benadryl and take a urine sample. The staff was awesome from the time I showed up until I left!!! They all had a great sense of humor as well and they cared about my well being!! I had hernia surgery and my doctor did a great job!! Definitely recommend Howard County Surgery Center!! Thanks HOCO staff!!
