Johnny's is popular for its simple and uncomplicated menu. Packed in the middle of two large French breads, you will find fried food, deli meats, cheese omelets, ham and eggs, and the starch-o-rama or the french-fry po' boy. The guy dresses up the bread in the most unusual ways! Other hot favorites include chicken tenders, shrimp creole and red beans. In the cheap... read more

Will never go back. Born and raised in south Louisiana gives me every right to judge your po boy's. Not very impressed. I ordered a shrimp po boy that had about 6 shrimp on it, not one shrimp fell off. I can name a dozen po boy joints in the quarter that are 10 times better.

First went in 1998, and again in 2013. Still delicious! Greetings from Belgium, Europe!

Amazing gumbo and the crab cakes are divine! Only complaint is the sandwich could've used some remoulade or a little more sauce of some kind.

My first shrimp po boy experience wasn't really all that great here. The servers were nice but this place didn't live up to the hype; points off for the soggy baguette bread. I had trouble chewing on it lol.
