About this business

Visitors to the French Quarter will find a wide variety of po-boy outlets. But you haven't eaten a great sandwich until you have tasted Johnny's Po Boy sandwiches! Johnny's is popular for its simple and uncomplicated menu. Packed in the middle of two large French breads, you will find fried food, deli meats, cheese omelets, ham and eggs, and the starch-o-rama or the french-fry po' boy. Salty Shrimp Poboy almost $14??? I asked for no tomatoes on my 30$ order and they still put them on my poboys. Cashier was very mean . Yet very nice to another lady behind me . Cooks were nice when my order came up . I was very disappointed . Bad customer service.

We had great plans and walked to johnnies for a traditional breakfast before a Saints football game and were in for a tremendous surprise. The bad news is that johnnies had recently been virtually gutted by a fire. We were deeply stressed and disappointed. New Orleans could never be quiet the same without johnnies po boys. The good news is that renovations are well underway. Johnnies will be back and hopefully with all all of its unique ambience and wonderful food.
