About this business

Visitors to the French Quarter will find a wide variety of po-boy outlets. But you haven't eaten a great sandwich until you have tasted Johnny's Po Boy sandwiches! Johnny's is popular for its simple and uncomplicated menu. Packed in the middle of two large French breads, you will find fried food, deli meats, cheese omelets, ham and eggs, and the starch-o-rama or the french-fry po' boy. The guy dresses up the bread in the most unusual ways! Other hot favorites include chicken tenders, shrimp creole and red beans. In the cheap... read more

First time here in NOLA. I'm a chef from Chicago and my girlfriend is a hardcore foodie... Decided to share a few sandwiches, so we ordered the fried oyster po'boy and the cold muffuletta sandwich. Great choice for both of them!! Order the po'boy "dressed" and you won't be disappointed!!

Yesterday my wife and I each carefully explained her severe shrimp allergy to person taking orders. We explained how to avoid cross contamination and asked if he could accommodate and he said he could. Had the best biscuits and gravy ever along with their chicken fingers. Coffee could not be better. But what topped it all was the friendly attitude of all of the workers and specially that of Ms. Cook, long hair, tall lady...What a personality, and smile. Thank you for making my stay better in New Orleans. Blessings to all.
