About this business

Visitors to the French Quarter will find a wide variety of po-boy outlets. But you haven't eaten a great sandwich until you have tasted Johnny's Po Boy sandwiches! Johnny's is popular for its simple and uncomplicated menu. Packed in the middle of two large French breads, you will find fried food, deli meats, cheese omelets, ham and eggs, and the starch-o-rama or the french-fry po' boy. The guy dresses up the bread in the most unusual ways! Other hot favorites include chicken tenders, shrimp creole and red beans. In the cheap... read more

Hey man sometimes the best food comes out of a rundown hole in the wall joint from sweaty, greasy cooks with questionable moral fortitude serving up hot deliciousness..I needed an authentic New Orleans Po Boy and these guys did not disappoint. I got exactly what I wanted and it was delicious..just don't expect a fine dining experience here no sir just good food served up on a paper plate the way god intended..I read a few of the bad reviews below and I have one question...Who goes to New Orleans with a shrimp allergy? LoL

Stopped in for breakfast and ate there every morning after, during our stay. After spending $26 per person for a mediocre, all you can eat breakfast buffet in a 5 Star hotel, Johnny's Po-boys $5 breakfast special was an amazing delight. Food was ample and great. Service was friendly and helpful.

A HUGE shout out to Mike!!! We came from Florida due to hurricane IRMA and was having a pretty rough day. We went in for lunch and they could clearly see we were stressed out (had 4 kids with us.) Mike was very patient with us as we had to start our order over 3 different times. Our meal was "on the shop" which was very kind and very touching!! We have never felt more welcome than we have in New Orleans during this very stressful time. Oh by the way....the food is amazing!!! We are coming back for lunch before we leave! Than... read more
