Until yesterday, I hadn’t been in NOLA for about 20 years and had never even tried a Poboy - I asked bell hops, taxi drivers, etc where I should go to sample my first Poboy - the common response was Johnny’s .... when I arrived, my initial opinion was this place could be a candidate for the Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives program (and maybe it has been).
