I’m not sure if it was just a bad night or if the food is always like this but, the meat on my burger was burnt, terrible taste and hard to swallow. My wife’s cheesesteak sandwich had, what tasted like old meat and my sisters brat was burnt and also tasted like yesterday’s food reheated. I’ve heard nothing but positive reviews about this restaurant and after tonight I feel like my money was wasted. We all ended up tossing the food and running to Wendy’s. Can I get a refund?
killer italian beef sandwich and deep dish pizza and they sell slices for $4. super nice staff and very clean and easy to get in and out of
It’s not home, but close. Recommend they add more meat like they do in the Chi. But overall they’re good.
I'm super disappointed that veggie burgers are no longer being carried. Johnny Chicago's used to be a frequent spot for me. The deep dish is phenomenal so I'll still stop in time to time for that. But you're really missing the mark for a community that's actually pretty decently sized in Alaska. Plenty of vegetarians and vegans who would appreciate the additional options that used to be there.
it was very good we had a pizza and the crust and sauce was amazing! can't wait to try the other stuff on the menu
We were very disappointed in this place. The cashier would not speak up. We struggled to hear her. We had to repeat our order several times because she struggled to get it in the computer correctly. We got past that and waited patiently in hopes the food would make up for it. The burgers tasted very similar to the frozen meatballs I regretted buying that are still in my freezer hoping someone will finish them, the sautéed onions were cold and the sweet potato fries were really burnt. I ordered an Italian beef with the works and was not disappointed. The sandwich was a great portion. The giardinera has just the right amount of heat to offset the richness of the rest of the ingredients. The sandwich was wet like a good Italian beef should be but not falling apart. I tried to tip for the exceptional food and service but our server wouldn't allow it. We will definitely be back!
First time stopping here and I was really impressed. The Italian Beef sandwich was very flavorful ( I got it with just cheddar cheese sauce and the beef broth sauce on the side to dip it in) and good portion size. Was actually more than I could eat. The cheese fries were crinkle cut so it’s a plus in my book and the gentleman working was super friendly. Lots of tables and really clean establishment.
