I had an amazing new patient appointment today. Dr. Johnnie Woodson actually sat down and explained to me my current problems and how we were going to treat everything. He took his time and I did not feel like he was rushing to leave (like at other doctor appointments I've had)! Very nice and approachable... even with the embarrassing issues. Friendly staff as well. I like this place – I went there to see a dermatologist, had a back peel and laser hair removal. They worked great around my busy military training schedule, I had to reschedule a lot! The laser hair removal lady was very tolerant of my zero pain intolerance :) The doctor also prescribed a medication for me which was new and took a day for the pharmacy to order but it has worked wonders. I see doctor Mai Voung and she is great :)

BAD PLACE – I HAVE VISITED WOODSON DERMATOLOGY ABOUT 8 TIMES TO CURE MY MELASMA AND I WAS TOLD TO SEE THERE ASTECHIAN ON DUTY DAHAPNE WHICH I DID AND DAHAPNE PROMISED ME SHE WOULD SEND ME AN INVITE ON APRIL 9 TO AN OPEN HOUSE THEY WHERE HAVING AND SHE NEVER DID AND ALSO SHE WAS SUPPOST TO CALL ME BACK TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR LASER VISITS SHE NEVER DID AND I WENT BACK TO THE OFFICE AND SHE WAS NOT THERE AND ANOTHER ASTECHAIN TOOK MY INFO. makes you wait – This place cannot schedule timely appts., even though their yellow page ad says they have "same day" appts. When I did go, I had to wait 2 hours for a morning appt. They were too busy with pharmaceutical reps. that day. I was given a prescription that was not available because it was so new. I had to wait 20 mins. on hold to try and schedule an appt. The doctor barely looked at my skin. I would not go there.

BEING A PT @ WOODSON DERMATOLOGY – HELLO THIS IS MY FISRT TIME DOING THIS. BUT WHAT I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT WOODSON DERMATOLOGY IS THAT THEY HAVE GREAT PEOPLE WORKING THERE. THEY HAVE NURSE THAT GET TO U IN A TIMLY MATTER FOR WHAT EVER U NEED.
