Dr. Woodward is always friendly. I believe he is a very good orthopedic doctor. I must, I am returning to have a second knee replacement done.
Mean, egotistical! Poked at my stomach fat and grabbed at it shaking it yelling, “LOOK AT THIS, LOOK AT THIS! “Stoping short of saying I’m disgusting at least that’s the way he made me feel. Said I was going to die. Said I need 2 new knees. 2nd opinion Dr. said only need 1 partial & ive done surgery on people much bigger then you cause the you can excercise. I told Woodward what 2nd Dr said and all he could he said I don’t do partials. Wow, wouldn’t even send me to someone else to do 1 partial.

I went in today to see doctor Woodward about a bone spur on my hip. I spoke to his PA, who examined me and talked to me for a bit. Doctor Woodward, who I made the appointment with come in for about two minutes, stayed by the door, not sitting down to give me a really quick diagnosis. I didn’t have a time to ask questions and don’t really know what I can do to help while I wait for a cortisone shot again. I feel my visit was quite a bit of money for a doctor who didn’t seem to have time. ??

I had a full hip replacement surgery just under three weeks ago. I'm walking unassisted at home and at stores. I walk around my neighborhood with my husband's help --over a mile on flat surfaces. I highly recommend Dr. Woodward--pleasant, no nonsense, competent and a very fine doctor. I only needed pain meds for 5 days and now just take a Tylenol at bedtime. Absolutely amazing, after 6 years of increasing pain and discomfort, I'm pain free and building strength and range of motion every day
I attended a knee replacement presentation by Dr. Woodward. A couple of weeks later, I set up an appointment to discuss replacing my knees. While speaking to him, I noticed several inconsistencies between what he said at the presentation and what he was saying at the appointment. In my experience, if a surgeon contradicts himself, find a new surgeon. Dr. Woodward strikes me as an orthopedic used car salesman.

Dr.Woodward replaced my wife's rt. knee 4 months ago.The surgery and recovery was excellent.Now Dr.Woodward is replacing my rt.hip next Tues.,then my lt.hip 2 mos. after that.I have confidence in him.He tells you what is necessary to do these things and what is necessary to complete your recovery.I trust him.
