I would highly recommend this airport over LAX. First, if you are leaving from Disneyland a cab ride is only $40 and you'll get there in under 30 minutes. Im told LAX can take 90+ minutes depending on traffic. The employees were very helpful with bag check and locating gates. Security seemed fast but thorough.
I think this is one one the best airports I have ever been too. Clean, easy to navigate, lots of good dining options, etc. When I head to the LA area, I fly into this airport.

I live at the OC airport and have for close 20 years. I like the airport it's easy to navigate if you have a good ryhym and j is what your doing. Valet parking is efficient, check in at both ticket and gates are efficient as well. Overall OC is small but very good in my view!
