This is the only commercial airport in Orange County, situated 35 miles to the south of Los Angeles. It has two runways and parking space for over 7,500 vehicles. Over nine million passengers avail of its services each year, and over 20,000 tons of air cargo is handled here. Three commuter, 11 commercial and two all-cargo airlines operate from the airport too.

I like the airport. I've been flying out of here since the days when you would drive right up to the plane & walk up the stair in it. However, on 4/2/17 Alaska Airlines supervised was very disappointing when he recommended I sleep in the airport for 12 hours till next flight because my direct flight ticket was sold to someone else. I like the airport but not that much....
