Dr. Womack performed a bunionectomy on me, following a new procedure that he had recently learned about. In short, all 3 pieces of hardware he put into my foot during surgery quickly became infected with MSSA. During the 2 months post-op that I was under his care the bone infection eroded away most of the bone in my right foot and permanently destroyed much of the cartilage. Despite constant pain and symptoms of infection, Dr. Womack only prescribed salve from Trader Joe's to combat the symptoms. When I got a 2nd opinion tha... read more

Has good bedside manners before surgery. After surgery he’s in and out! I got cellulitis after my surgery and he refused to see me! His nurse said he doesn’t treat infections! I feel like he abandoned me when I needed him. My primary doctor agreed that Womack should have seen me after the cellulitis diagnosis. I’ve asked my primary doctor for a referral to a new orthopedic doctor. His PA see’s his patients! I don’t like this because I don’t pay $400 a month for insurance to see a assistant! Leslie is his PA she’s rude, cocky... read more

Upon being referred to Dr Womack, I trusted my Reffering Dr but always look up reviews on any Dr I see. Reading through Dr Womacks reviews had me a little concerned, but went anyway. I was pleasantly surprised that he took the time with me, answered all my questions and was professional, sincere & kind. When I have my procedure done, I will have Dr Womack do it. He was not the rude man that some patients said he was.

I’ve seen Dr Womack twice, and I had a great experience both times. He came into the room prepared by reviewing my medical history. He asked great questions and provided very clear, simple information about my condition, my concerns and options. The nurses were polite, I didn’t have any wait and he spent enough time with me to address my concerns and I didn’t feel rushed.

Awful, operated on my foot, got infected (Mercer), had to have emergency surgery to remove hardware in foot and stay in hospital for 5 days. Since he took all the hardware out, now back to same problem before surgery. Did same thing for my wife, she had a broke ankle and when he set her ankle, he also removed a bunion. She had to go back in surgery later because he left a screw loose in her foot.

Dr. Womack reconstructed my ankle and honestly, I don’t know why I waited so long. My ankle has healed perfectly and I feel stronger than ever and have returned to my active lifestyle. Hands down (or feet’s up?) the best orthopedic surgeon around. I can’t recommend him enough!

I went to Dr. Womack for a hammer toe and bunion on my right foot. After surgically “repairing” it my bunion is now twice the size as it was and the hammer toe had the tendon transplanted and now drags on the ground if I don’t tape it up. I also have significant scar tissue under the “repaired”toe that is Uncomfortable. When I asked if there was anything that could be done he said he would do the same proceedure on his wife (bless her). I would not go back to this Doctor unless He paid!

I would not recommend Dr. Womack to anyone! I had a mild case of planters fasciitis in right foot & I asked if I should do surgery & he said yes. He didn't want any of my previous Doctors records & what really surprised me, he didn't want to do an MRI or X-Ray. I went ahead and did the Orthoscopic surgery & it has cause more complication than I had before the surgery. I now have severe planters fasciitis in my left foot, partial torn tendon in my big toe & torn tendon in the arch of right foot
