Dr Essay and staff were all very nice. They were very helpful and explained things. They asked if I had any questions. Very good experience!

Workmans comp required me to see Dr. Essay very specifically. Before accident I used to do 5k runs, ride my bike 50 plus miles, many other activities on a regular basis. 7 surgeries later, I can barely walk across my yard the pain is still so intense. He recommended no more physical therapy, no further treatment needed. Rated me at 10% loss. The report looked like Workman’s Comp wrote it.

I was a little unsure during my first visit. The wait time was long, but Dr. McClellan immediately seemed familiar with my ailment, and I was impressed by his knowledge. My second visit was via telehealth to go over imaging, and I was finally diagnosed with something after being dismissed by other doctors for many years. Such a relief! When I returned for my one-year follow-up, I was sure he was the doctor I'd been looking for. Dr. McClellan was realistic about my outlook and seemed interested in what things had worked for me... read more

This guy has a God complex. He sent me to have fluid drawn off my lungs and there was no fluid. He dismissed me from his care upon arriving back at his office and we were perplexed. I found out later he severed my phrenic nerve, and I lost the use of one lung. I never saw him again, but was informed by other doctors he testifies against other doctors and is a very bad person. I wish I had never met him. Please beware.

I had an appointment with Dr. Essay and was very pleased with his bedside manner and information he gave me about HFX Stimulation System. I have dealt with chronic pain for 30 years and have some hope that I could be pain free at some point. I would highly recommend Dr. Essay to anyone dealing with chronic pain.
