I had my teeth cleaned in Dr. VanCamp's office today. I am always impressed with how friendly the staff is, while being so professional and efficient. Each staff member made me feel at ease. There was no pain whatsoever, and Dr. VanCamp spent quite a bit of time talking about a little bleeding of gums around a tooth, discussing the possible cause, recommending what I could do about it, and then talking about nutrition, which is of great interest to me. He did my entire mouth, cosmetic dentistry, all crowns. $30,000. They did not fit nor look good. Redid the front 12, again, bad fit and look! And we had to argue about me paying for lab fees. Had migrains for 2 years, went to a new dentist, back teeth were not correct, fit not good, new dentist corrected them. Bottom teeth should have had braces prior to cosmetic work, which I asked about and was told no, that would take too long. I'm very sad that Dr. Van Camp purchased the practice I attended for many years. He was condescending and nasty to his staff. He asked why I was leaving, promised to send records after several phone calls, then asked for a great deal of money to have the records transferred.
