I have been going to this dealership for years and know to expect to wait at least 2 hours for and oil change without an appointment. The first time I actually scheduled an appointment the oil change still took 2 hours, i was told it would take about an hour. The service rep CHRISTOPHER HUDSON had no idea why it took so long. I asked if there was anything the dealership did for customers when the service takes longer than estimated. He answered NO but with an attitude as if I wasn't supposed to ask! John Thornton Chevrolet refused warranty work on my 2013 Equinox currently UNDER RECALL for faulty wiper blades that stopped working in a rainstorm because - wait for it - Chris from the Service Dept. says, "GM doesn't have a solution yet, so you'll have to pay for the work ... we have to earn a living. ... Don't you!?" This is after they said it would take TWO WEEKS to get windshield wipers from GM. Or to translate: "We don't want to do warranty work." I have a problem with making an appointment for an oil change and then having to wait an hour and half to get my car back.I shouldn't have to spend all day sitting in a waiting room to get an oil change. There is no since of urgency. Time is not important to the employeesame is the impression I get.this is flat out ridiculous.
I recently needed a part for my 2003 silverado since many of the other dealers had closed they were the closest to me after being there only a few minutes i had the right part in my hand at a cheaper price that i had been quoted from another dealership the parts consultant chad was very knowledgeable and courteous i definitely will continue to go there for all my parts needs
