I had a very serious diabetic foot issue going on and Dr. Kirchner was called in to access my situation. Upon meeting him he was professional and very kind delivering the unpleasant diagnosis and surgery recommendations. He was also very supportive of my wishes and has gone above and beyond to help me save my leg. I am truly thankful to have him as my doctor. I totally recommend Dr. Kirchner for your foot snd ankle needs.
My husband had a below knee amputation, the day after surgery Dr. Kirchner left on vacation and never saw my husband in the hospital. The hospitalist saw and cared for my husband the entire time, making sure his pain was under control/etc. Dr. Kirchner put in discharge orders 3 days after his surgery and my husband only went home on one pain medication, when in the hospital he was on two pain medications and a muscle relaxer. This doctor did surgery on my ankle five times. I was on a scooter for 3 1/2 years! Finally found a doctor out of state who could help so switched to him. Instead of losing my foot I am now walking on it! I do NOT recommend this doctor.
After several years of contemplating a bunion surgery I saw something about Lapiplasty. I researched it and decided it was the way to go to correct my bunion problem. It is a relatively new procedure for what was formerly considered a very painful surgery. True to the Lapiplasty's testimonies, I was on my feet in two weeks and back in regular shoes in 5 weeks. Dr. Kirchner was the perfect surgeon for this procedure and I highly recommend him!

I fractured my ankle and he said I needed a plate for future strength, quicker recovery. He did the surgery and I felt fine after a few months. I have no complaints.
this man is a liar and will be sued for telling a patient that he will do knee surgery when a patient is in dier need and he refused that he came into the room and told us and we have witnesses. He takes an oath and he lied and I am the witness and we will be going forth on a lawsuit on him. He is the most horrible, dishonorable, fligazy surgeon and i would NRVER RECOMMEND him to anyone. Run if you see him. Not a good doctor or surgeon. Beware. He is horrible with no heart.
I was given no hope for my ankle repair. The doctors all stated that the ankle was too far gone to repair. Dr. Kirchner recommended ankle replacement. Thanks to Dr. Kirchner I had the surgery and have been very mobile virtually pain free for two years.
I have been a patient of his for years. I completely trust this man with any decisions pertaining to my health.
