When we started looking, we were more nervous about finding a good agent than finding a house, but John was fantastic to work with. He answered all of our questions, even the ones that seem silly in retrospect, and he always responded to calls and emails quickly. He even helped talk me through my anxiety about making such a big decision. John Ritchison is a special agent he goes above and beyond for us. he listened to up know exactly what we were looking for .and find the perfect house for us in will never look for another real estate agent all my family and friends will be calling John for all their real estate needs . What I liked most about John is that he kept what we wanted as the most important thing. He didn't try to sell us homes, he asked lots of probing questions about what we wanted, what we liked about each house and what we disliked. He was very attentive, and didn't rush us to make decisions, though he did make us aware of when time was sensitive

We met John at an open house in Cedar Rapids one year before we were able to look for a home....we were living in Southern Iowa at the time and we wanted to move back to Cedar Rapids. We had ours listed there , but it took awhile to sell.....we had kept John's card from the open house because we liked him immediately, so we then decided that yes, he would be our realtor.. John was great to work with. We had no problems reaching him by email and by phone, and he was always quick to respond to our questions and concerns. We really appreciated the fact that he never pressured us or tried to show us properties that weren't right for us. He took the time to talk with us about the kinds of things we wanted and stuck to our parameters. He drove all over with us, to multiple houses in multiple communities. John is a great guy, showed multiple homes over a year period. Since we were moving from California it was a very difficult process setting up viewing when we could travel back to look at the homes. He was awesome in every aspect of our home purchase, gave great advise. We are really happy with our new home.

Right off the bat, John was quick to respond to our Zillow inquiries. Next he showed his patience while my fiance and I toured many houses before finally settling on a great place. Knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with, I would recommend John to anyone.

John Ritchison is a hard working professional. My wife and I were very impressed with how focused John was on putting us first and making sure we got what we wanted from a house. After we decided on the house, there were lots of issues with closing (it was a foreclosure). Throughout the process John kept us up to date and worked hard to make sure that nothing was overlooked. He took care of us. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

John was a pleasure to work with. We were first time home buyers and weren't familiar with the process and all the ups and downs that came with purchasing a home.
