On 3/18/25, and for the second time in six months, I spent a long evening in the Holy Spirit ER with a family friend. As much as the first time, I was struck by the efficiency, competence and compassion of the staff, techs, nurses and doctors evident in the care provided to my friend. Waited for 5 hours today with my 86 year old mother who was in 8 out of 10 pain level only to be told they had no idea when she would be seen. She and another older man asked for a pillow or something to sit on because the seats were so hard after so many hours and they never got one. Nursing staff seemed uncaring.

I came because my knee was hurting. They shuttled me around from the waiting room, checked my blood pressure a few times, got X-ray, and then I waited almost two hours. The doctors were great, but it still took 3 to 4 hours.

Horrible experience with this hospital. Slow everything. Could not get a straight answer from anyone . Typical health care company... sure we'll take your money, won't listen cause we know better then you , and oh if you complain or get pissed at the lack of communication from them, we'll jus make your visit sucks even more. Next time I'd rather stay home and suffer. What a horrible hospital..
