About this business
Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

The Fleetwood Mac show on March 15th was awesome!!! However, the traffic control was dismal. Many people missed the first hour of the concert because traffic was so heavy and there was no traffic control until you turned onto the campus. When it takes 1.75 hrs to go 1.5 miles, there's a very big problem!! I was extremely disappointed with the city's and the venue's lack of planning for those concert-goers who don't live on the campus (and outside visitors like myself who came from Ottawa, Canada).
