Horrible experience. Having certain issues and he didn’t care. I asked for meds that don’t cause weight gain due to eating disorder and he didn’t care and still put me on it. Very rude to not listen to your clients. Stopped going right away.
When I made an appointment to see Dr. Naus I wasn't told that I would spend 99% of my time with his staff where they decide medication and then 5 seconds with him to simply be asked if I was satisfied! Give me a break, if I wanted to work someone else other than an actual psychiatrist I would have made an appointment with one. If you actually want a psychiatrist, don't go to this place!!
It is extremely hard to get a correct diagnosis when dealing with mental health disorders and chronic pain disorders, they can run together and be missed diagnosed as I was for years with the blanket "depression " and anxiety . I had a visit and tests at Dr. Naus' and he said he thought my previous docs simply missed the fact that I was ADD.I'm glad I trusted his knowledge and took the medicine prescribed. I am so much less anxious and can actually concentrate at work!
Dr Naus actually takes the time during an appointment to discuss how I'm feeling and to review medications. I never feel rushed through San appointment. The only "Con" I give him is because of his front office staff. The women in forced to interact with are nonresponsive to phone calls and frequently rude.
I love this place. Great people.
Getting returned phone calls is impossible. Renewal of critical medications is not a priority. Not recommended.
It appears now they have decided to charge me full price ( $200), for follow ups, while my insurance says my fee should be $30. They will then file with my insurance & maybe I'll get my money back?! This for 10 minutes with a nurse. Let me add that no other doctor I see does this. Insurance is expensive by itself, and then they charge me full, uninsured fees?! I don't think so..avoid this practice. No one else does this.
Have been seeing Dr. Naus since he opened his practice. He is very good at what he does. I have called in for medication refills, just leave the a message and they will call you back. The lady that does the refills is GREAT. There are always new ways to charge extra fees, $5.00 for keeping your charge card on file and wanting your security code. Charging you full price (cash) if you do not have your current health on file before your visit. you have to check the web site.
Dr. Naus and his wife Rhonda are wonderful people! I see Rhonda and my husband sees another NP there. We both love the treatment we receive from scheduling the appointment, reminders of upcoming appointments, refill requests, call-backs for appointment changes within 24 hours, in-person friendliness and the quality of life we live thanks to the listening skills and experience of this practice. I definitely recommend to anyone.
