Not only does this man gaslight patients with severe health conditions but he also fails to provide care like he should. Weeks and weeks of OTHER PROVIDERS offices reaching out with no return calls no orders to help cotreat patients. Please stay very very far away!!
Initial consultation yesterday; very satisfied with the visit and treatment plan. Thrilled to meet with a "specialist" who actually understands dysautonomia and how the vagal nerve affects the enteric system. He was cordial and had a good sense of humor, however, during questioning he could come across as brusk. By the end of the visit, which was a good half hour or more, I realized he was trying to identify specific current problems in order to develop a treatment plan. Great to meet a specialist who is actually an expert.
The appointment was so fast it felt like he didn't even have a full understanding of my symptoms before suggesting we do a surgery to put in a device. When I asked basic questions about the efficacy of the surgery he was taken back and basically told me that that is what he offers. I have looked into the option he was suggesting extensively before coming to see him as part of my own research for help. What he was wanting to do has been proven not to help with stomach motility, but only to help with some side effects of nause... read more
Never even addressed the issue and never looked at any of my health records just told me to not let any other dr touch me when my gallbladder was dead inside of me, completely black and the. Pretty much refused to treat me because I didn’t listen. He’s not a nice man!
I was referred to Dr. Wo by my PCP. I have had variable GI issues since I was a child. Dr. Wo’s office is at IU Health Hospital. This is a teaching hospital so, I was interviewed by the resident. The resident was appropriate and thorough. After about 20 to 25 minutes, she left the room to get Dr. Wo. Dr. Wo immediately was on the offensive. He kept asking why I came to see him. He insisted that my problem should be addressed by a doctor that I have seen and gotten treatment from for a related GI issue. Said doctor is out-of-... read more
The BEST!
He does not listen -even when he asks a question and you start to answer he becomes dismissive. He has disregarded the test results from John’s Hopkins telling me they are incorrect and they didnt know what they were doing there, including a Hydrogen breath test that Dr Wo stated, on two occasions to me directly, are meaningless, though he is now wanting me to have one at his clinic. He has disregarded results from other motility physicians as well. He contradicts himself from one visit to the next. Either he has little clue... read more
Did not listen never even took the time to get to know my problems. Did even review my medical records before seeing me I would never go back to see him even if I was paid. Just a rude doctor with no bedside manners
Dr. Wo found my problem and started a treatment plan in two visits
