I’ve been seeing Dr. O’Hanlon for 5 years and send all my family and friends to him. He is extremely knowledgeable and up to date on the latest technology and research.
Dr. O’Hanlon saved my foot. I couldn’t walk and I had a very bad infection. I went to multiple other doctors And they weren’t clear on what I should do and the treatment was expensive. But Dr. O’Hanlon immediately got to work helping me And saved my foot completely.
I have been seen by Doctor O Hanlon for many years he has always treated me well. He does do home visits and has help me in so many ways with my feet health.
I have been going to Dr. John O’Hanlon for years and have sent friends and family there. He is an extremely trustworthy doctor and is very friendly. He tells you everything you need to know about your treatment and is seriously a lifesaver.
Had terrible swelling in my foot. Did not really know how it happened. Felt like my Toe rolled in my shoe. Dr. Hanlon took one look at it and knew what to do. He gave me a shot and the next day I am fine!!! Just what I was hoping for. A very pleasant bedside manor too. He has an office in Armonk & Somers. Easy to make an appointment too! Was not put on hold for hours!!!
Having an Achilles issue, I asked around to several friends for a good local podiatrist and Dr. O’Hanlon came up several times. His reviews weren’t great but on the advice of people I spoke with I made the appointment. I think more people that have pleasant experiences should leave reviews. Dr. O’Hanlon was professional but caring, to the point but full of information and explanations. I felt very comfortable accepting his course of treatment for my ankle. I recommend him highly and would tell family members to go to him sho... read more
I came to him for a second opinion on my torn tendon. The first MD wanted to operate immediately. He very unprofessionally badmouthed that doctor. Then the next thing I knew, he was putting plaster on my feet to fit me for orthotics. Never explained what he was doing. After the orthotics were made I had to go for adjustments. He hustled me in and out like he didn't have time for me. They still squeak when I walk but I'm never going back to him.
He should discuss carefully how the treatment will be before doing the procedure, and if for any reason the plan has changed during the procedure, he should inform the patient with what happened exactly instead of giving each visit an information that he opposes it on the following visit. I’m not happy with what he did to my foot and even my toe which wasn’t in consideration to be in the surgery, now it has been shortened than it was before and looks awful in a wrong shape and length compared to what it was before the surger... read more
Saw this doc over 20 years ago. He does unnecessary surgery in his office. He insisted on removing half of my toenail at the root because it was ingrown. He did this in the office. It took months to heal at which time he told me to soak my foot in vinegar.. 5 years later, that portion of my toenail grew back so he failed at a surgery u was later told I never needed. Stay away!!!
