Dr. Irving explained everything very clearly as to what to expect from my surgery.
Doctor performs procedure with major concern for protecting the site from infection and for minimal scars from procedure. The rehab groups that follow up are always there to answer any issues that you might think matter…
I asked by GP who he would go to for knee or hip replacement and he said Dr. Irving. I couldn't have been happier with his recommendation.
Here is my complaint: when I was wincing in pain from his manipulation he stated “you can’t complain—it’s your fault” meaning my nutrition and exercise. He did not say this with a mean tone but I heard that as a hurtful statement. On a positive note I think his diagnosis and advice was mostly correct. (Not sure about these electrolyte drinks he recommends). I think I would get the same from a PT appointment honestly. Not sure what he brings to the table separate from a physical therapist.
Dr. Barnes has helped to reduce my pain and keep me mobile the past year. Great, friendly staff and very professional.
I had hand surgery at Ct Orthopedic done by Dr Bernstein, I was having difficulty with several trigger fingers, daily activity was extremely difficult. Dr Girasole is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon . He along with the neurosurgeon Dr Mintz , who is also highly skilled , make a great team and I highly recommend them. The office staff and St Vincent’s Hospital made me feel very comfortable and were very professional .
