Disappointing to say the least. I have family that have had successful surgeries with Dr. Beiner and was referred to him with glowing recommendations. After waiting a month for an appointment, the office called the day before to reschedule to the next week. The morning of that appointment as I leave they call and say they need to reschedule AGAIN and will try to get me in the same day (I live 40 minutes away). “The best!!!”
I consider Dr Beiner and his team one of the best. I was admitted due to excruciating pain as the result of a herniated disk. Dr Beiner team was exceptionally compassionate and immediately made me as comfortably as possible. Within minutes of my arrival Dr Beiner had examined me, clearly explained his diagnosis and my options moving forward. He then made arrangements for discectomy surgery at Midstate Medical Center. Dr. Beiner and the entire COS staff have what it takes. Great environment. I am not a fan of visiting doctors but I have never felt more comfortable and relaxed than I have at COS. Dr. Beiner is professional, thorough in his discussion and explanation of your issues and explains in easy to understand terms what is necessary to treat those issues.
I have had 2 cervical surgeries, (2012 & 2018), both with Dr. Beiner. He and his staff are top notch. They are professional, as well as compassionate and caring. Although they are quite busy, they never rush you or make you feel unimportant. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Beiner, Lauren and Taylor for all their help over the past year.
My experience with dr. Beiner is that he views his patients as a pay check. He is a clear example of everything that's wrong with the healthcare system today. Dr. Beiner is extremely intelligent and no doubt successful, however his arrogance and general disregard for his patients leads me to believe he should have went into finance or law. If you're looking for someone that will take the time to address your concerns hes not your guy. He talks down to his patients as if they're beneath him.
