I had knee surgery from Dr Jiganti several years ago. It went well and I’ve not had one problem with it. He is very courteous and nice. I wish he were still here in Gig Harbor. I thought he had retired.
My experience was great, he did a great job putting my knee back together. But he said if anyone gets arthritis it'll be you, well he was right, but not till 24 1/2 years later. 1 guy mentioned, about a rude secretary, oh ya happened to me too on the phone & in person.
Had to have my hip replacement redone because it was put in incorrectly resulting in additional surgeries down my leg
Dr. Jiganti did not listen to my husband as he experinced excruciating swelling and pain after knee surgery. After two visits to seek help, I took him to the ER for an ultrasound and they discovered he had developed a blood clot that stretched from his groin to the foot and immidieatly hospitalized him. We learnedthat Dr. Jiganti had not presecribed the usually post surgery blood thinners and because of this clot, my husband has veinous insufficiency and constant pain in his leg. Unsympathetic.
Amazing dr. he is very thorough and explained everything to me in detail one of the best doctors I’ve seen in 55 years. I had knee surgery last year with very good results and my knee is stronger than ever now. would recommend Dr. Jiganti to take care of anyone in my family and friends. It was easy to get an appointment and it was easy to schedule a surgery for my knee they did all the hard work. Girls at the front desk and the staff very friendly.
I called into the office to schedule an apt, first I was sent to some outside apt setter who was only interested in collecting my information. then I finally got transferred to his office after nearly ten minutes on hold. Then some lady answered the phone, and was completely rude! She even told me she would not schedule an appointment unless I sent her a letter from lni that it was ok!

I had to have a bi-lateral revision on my knees,was very nervous about seeing a surgeon that I didn't know(my original surgeon doesn't do revisions). Dr. Jiganti took me on as a patient.Surgery was successful,follow up went well. All my questions and concerned were addresses along the way. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.
Dr. Jiganti was rude, and provided me with NO BENEFICIAL SERVICE when I saw him for my arthritic right knee two weeks ago. When he entered the exam room, he said, "I know you!" in a very asocial tone of voice (he had operated on my left knee 10 years ago). While I was on the exam table, he pulled and bent my knees, and once said, "That hurts." That did not hurt my knee, so figuring he was asking me, I said, "No." He then STARTED TO LEAVE! He NEVER GAVE ME a DIAGNOSIS nor the X-RAY RESULTS!
