My first appointment with Dr Coen was AMAZING! He is patient, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, listens to what you're telling him and super down to earth. It felt like talking to a (really smart) friend. I felt comfortable but most importantly, I felt SEEN and HEARD. Afterwards, i immediately added Dr Coen to my "Favorite People Ever" list, which is not very long at all!
Dr Coen was very helpful in helping me understand my current situation with my recently dislocated hip. He clarified a lot of the misunderstands I had about my hip and reassured me that my 2005 surgical procedure was completed within normal standards and that there would be no benefit in going through new hip replacement surgery. There are some options that might help keep me from dislocating my artificial hip in the future but my best option was to continue to be ever mindful of my hip restrictions!
I really enjoyed seeing him, his work up for a total knee was great.
Dr. Coen was very thorough and explained in detail the options of the different treatments. Looking forward to healing soon.
Dr. Coen was friendly and very thorough in explaining what I should expect in getting a knee replacement. I feel confident in getting a working knee, and in knowing that there is a team of medical staff there to assist me.
