Dr. Itamura is fantastic. His and his team are attentive and caring. My shoulder was a mess. It is now back in working order and at 73 I’m back to riding horses.
One of if not the greatest, most kind, most hardworking and articulate orthopedic surgeons in the world. He listens, he cares, he’s very quick and straight to the point. He did my Tommy John in 2017. He also has done my shoulder three times and saved my ability to play baseball. Dr. Itamura is amazing. Every repair he has ever done has remained completely intact. He does the best work, the rest is up to us in physical therapy. He’s. 10/10. Highly recommend. The GOAT of shoulder and arm surgery.
Dr I (as he likes to be called) is the best shoulder doctor in Southern California! He completed a reverse shoulder replacement on me after a traumatic fall and has stayed in contact with me since surgery in December of 2022. I have referred him again and again to others suffering from shoulder injuries. He’s the best!
This office is a joke. Two days before operation they are letting us know that they couldn't get a authorization from our insurance. We checked with insurance and found out that their authorization department doesn't even know how to do that plus finally one day before operation they notify us know that operation will be performed by Dr. Itamura's assistant. Horrible office not a doctor we met him once and left satisfied but office is a mess.
