This place has went downhill over the last couple years. Sides are terrible and customer service is terrible!

Have been going to John Hardy's BBQ since 1986. Even though I do not live in Rochester MN anymore, I still get take out when passing through. Best BBQ in the area.
Great food, Ok Service until the part that they forget food from your order. Then even though you give them money they seem to want to make you pay again and get a refund from the office. No way will I be back.
I love southern style smoked meat. The tangy vinager based sauce. They smoke the meat with cherry and apple wood which accents the pork very well. The ribs were fall off the bone with a nice bark and nice smoke ring. The pulled pork had a great flavor. With or without sauce it is great. I would definatly recommend this place and I will go back when I come back to Rochester.
Bad food! One star too much!
