Dr Meilahn is great surgeon and trustworthy !!!!!
Dr meihlan saved my life. At 392 lbs he performed gastric bypass after I followed his strict instructions to lose some weight and quit smoking. If that sounds a little off we'll it's to prove ur commitment since gastric bypass is not a quick fix it's a tool that you need to work with the rest of ur life. He made sure that my house was fully air conditioner before he discharged me on an excessively hot weekend so I wouldn't be uncomfortable and sweat into my incision. This doctor maybe a great surgeon but has a very horrible bedside manner. He performed my gastric bypass surgery in April 2012 and I developed a stomach ulcer that I still have today and I have to take protonix for the rest of my life until I'm called home. Dr. Meilahn kept telling me there was nothing wrong with me but yet I was admitted in Temple several times and received over three blood transfusions and had a nun and priest pray over me.
