EXCELLENT FOR CURLY HAIR – after going to a horrible coloring place at laicale salon.... it was wonderful to end the day at JOHN D I read the reviews about jeffery at devachan and i heard that he was in john d. at first i was skeptic of these reviews but im soooo happy i took a chance. Thank you John Dellaria for bringing Glenn Oliver to your incredible salon! He did a fantastic job on cutting my hair, and gave me tips to styling my hair at home that have transformed my "pull it back into a ponytail" fallback to "look out world here I come" style. I was so pleased with the results, I had Glenn do my makeup and hair for my bridal shower. In a word, Glenn Oliver is "GREAT"! All my very best to John Dellaria and the John Dellaria Salon!
Jennifer - WTF? – A friend of mine suggested Jennifer and has always raved about her. (I don't know if there is more than one but this one was heavy set with blonde hair.) Amazing haircut... pays attention to details... – I had danny as my stylist and I absolutely loved him. I went to him for my birthday, to get a quick cut. I didn't have to wait and the front girls were so nice every time. Danny was experienced in Asian hair from previously working in Hawaii, so when he cut my hair, he was confident in giving me what I needed. I have been going to John Dellaria for years- Nella is a "hair whisperer"!!! I have never received a bad cut or color, she always fits me in no matter how busy she is and i get compliments on my hair regularly. Great Cut and Color – I have had an excellent experience getting my hair cut and colored at the John Delaria Solon for the past few years. My hair always comes out looking great. Bowie always does a perfect job cutting and blowing out my hair and Steve has done a fabulous job with my hair color. I am pretty picky and had tried several colorists in NYC prior Steve being reccommended to me. The overall experience in the salon is good and hassle free. The atmosphere is stylish/hip and low key.
Nella saved my hair! – The John Dellaria Salon has a really great vibe going for it, and some awesome stylists to boot. My hair had been severly broken, and damaged from a bad colorist, when I started seeing Nella. In four months she has managed to get my hair nearly back to it's original healthy, happy place, and I get compliments all the time on my cut and color. If you are looking for a hip, talented stylist make sure you ask for her when you book your next hair appointment!
It's a always a party with Brian. – Don't let the dull franchise looking decor fool you. You will get amazng service at John Dellaria Salon but make sure you ask for Brian David. I've gone to others there but Brian is the best. His color is amazing and each cut is very specific to your needs, innovative and creative. He's professional but also so much fun!!
A bad experience and not willing to fix it – I wish I had the experience the other users did. I was referred to colorist Jennifer for a corrective coloring. Unfortunately, things did not turn out well at all. (In short, she left the bleach in my hair for too long. While in the salon, I had to send another stylist to search to find her, and the same situation happened again when I came back for a toner.)
