Outstanding professionalism from the entire staff. I found the atmosphere very comforting and caring. I’m very grateful that my PA, Mike Friedman referred me to Dr Canales and his staff. I’m feeling very blessed!!!
I have not had to make any urgent appointments, so I can not give a rating on this issue. The Doctor does have to respond to emergency situations which can result in delays for routine patients.
I had a heart catheterization performed by Dr. John Canales. Everything done was outstanding. Had no problems after the procedure.
I've been seeing Dr. Canales for about 5 yrs. for high blood pressure and AFib. We have everything under control. Dr. Canales is very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. The office staff are very nice and professional. I have no doubt that Dr. Canales has made a big difference in my heart health.
Courteous, efficient staff. Dr. Canales has a warm, very professional demeanor. Patiently let me describe my symptoms and concerns. He expressed his thoughts and recommendations clearly and in terms I could follow - no jargon. I feel very comfortable having him run this show
Dr. Canales is someone who takes time to listen to what his patient is telling him. He asks questions to make sure that all information is obtained and makes his recommendation for what needs to be done next. This may involve a test that needs to be run or a change in medication or dosage amount. If he feels you need to be seen more often or less often it is always because he cares about his patient and knows what is best.
We love Dr. Canales, He has a wonderful personality, very professional yet very personal. He treat all of his patients like his own family. Extremely care about your overall heath not just on your heart. We love him and trust him completely, that is the reason why we both (Me & My husband) come to see him. We will follow him where ever he goes. We want him to take care of our hearts as long as he is in his practice. Cool guy.....he takes the time to answer any questions you might have, passes on any information you might find helpful, and even takes time to visit. Unlike many others, he doesn't rush you in and out assembly-line style. Waiting time is usually short as well and the office staff is proficient. Only one complaint: Every time you go in, you have to fill out the same form even when nothing has changed - what a waste of paper!!
