I was admitted into the JCL hospital with stage 4 colon cancer on April 4. Surgery was performed on April 6 and I became an ostomate. The unreliable hospital ostomy nurse suddenly quit. When I was discharged, no one at the hospital gave me a prescription for ostomy supplies. This created a nightmare for the medical supply company and Medicare. After being home for over 2 weeks, I have not received a prescription nor any ostomy supplies, creating an unacceptable health issue.
They're good the only is they need to call ppl top the back faster an not take their sweet time
Recent ER visit. Dr. Bushman was awesome. I felt like she really listened to me and was thorough in all her testing. My nurse Debbie was very friendly and nice. Since my husband had to leave to handle our kids I would have liked to have been checked in on more (was in pain, thirsty, needed to use restroom and hard to get up to go hooked up to everything). Other than that, everything went better than I expected.
I just tried to write a post and because I put one star it was denied my loved one is not receiving the care that they need and I'm not even allowed to bring them shoes or money to make a phone call I'm afraid to put anything else because I didn't use foul language or anything obscene I was completely professional and just want something done if anyone is interested in finding out what happened to me please click on my name so you can read my post because the hospital will not show what I wrote or what I think or how bad the... read more
Thank you to all of the awesome nurses, doctors and staff who took such good care of me for the last 4 days! I was on the fourth floor and witnessed first hand how hard they work! They are all so kind and supportive and kept my spirits up with your positive attitudes. You guys gave me excellent care. I have not been in a hospital since 2008 for a surgery. This was different because they did not know what was wrong with me. The Docs figured it out! Thank you so much to all of you who took care of me!
This Hospital really needs a lesson in bedside manners! Not very attentive for sure. My Mom had been telling them that she needed to use the restroom since she got in. She has a broken hip and can't move. Well eventually it was too late and then they act like they're annoyed with the situation. I know she's not the easiest patient, but seriously?!
