It's always a good experience with them talking to him getting me ready for my operation it was a great appointment
I have always gotten excellent medical care from Sutter Health. One of the physicians that I received this care from has been John C. Kofoed, M.D., who is a practicing orthopaedist, treating me for various conditions. He is friendly, personable and will spend time explaining my condition and what the various treatment options, including surgical. He leaves it to me to choose, never giving me the feeling that I need to hurry for my decision and are thorough and in layman's terms. I would highly recommend Doctor Kofoed.
Dr. K spent alot of time viewing and explaining to me the MRI picture of my right shoulder, the muscles, tendons, atrophy, etc. Then he said I still had good mobility and gave me my first cortisone shot (I've had others years ago in my knees), which wasn't too bad. I throw disc golf daily (67 years old) and my right shoulder is crucial to my well-being (both have had rotator cuff repair. I am very pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Kofoed.
The visit went well, but I forgot some questions. 1. what kind of cream should I use on my stump that hurts in the evening, not just where the surgery was but upper part of leg.
