The staff made me comfortable and dr clohisy is a great doctor I just had surgery 4 weeks ago and I have no complaints Besides getting in touch with them regarding stuff I need
I should have been worried after the initial office visit felt like an assembly line. My post operative care was non existent. The office refused my request for outpatient therapy 4 times. The only follow up was 8 weeks after surgery and it was only telemedicine. How can you assess gait like that. At 7 weeks when the nite pain persisted I was told just live with it for 3 months. Dr Clohisy did my hip replacement. Home the same day with minimal pain. Great process that insured a successful outcome.
Superb physician I am physician As well Really good local orthopedist sent me to chlohisy for complicated hip case Results and care,staff etc were excellent I would recommend without hesitation
My insurance Tricare says he’s InNetwork and when I call his office the appt ladies say Dr. Clohisy prefers not to accept Tricare which is military insurance and pays very well. That’s ashamed he does t want to treat military families.
I am off balance ever since the hip surgery. NOPAIN in replaced hip, but body is not "squared" or something as I no longer have balance and have constant back pain as I feel the body is twisted. Standing in front of the mirror, the body does not face forward since the right hip replacement. I imagine it was a good hip replacement, but not positioned right for me to walk. What good is a assembly line replacement if my body line is now off key. I am now disabled due to no balance.
I would recommend Dr. Clohisy. I am very comfortable with him. I have issues with the resident he had with him for the last 2 surgeries. Also have issues with communications unless I can get in touch with Madeline his scheduler.
I can't say enough about Dr. Clohisy and his staff! They all worked together to make my hip replacement experience as positive as possible. They gave me a lot of information, tracked down records of a previous hospitalization to be sure they knew my history, answered questions, and kept track of my progress after I came home from the hospital. Dr. Clohisy is tops in hip surgery, and I felt very confident and grateful to have him as my doctor.
Dr. Clohisy replaced my hip in 2009 and the results were excellent. I have never had any problems concerning the implant and my recovery was very swift. Unfortunately, my other hip needs to replaced now and I am scheduling the surgery this year. I just wish I had called sooner since there is a 3 month wait before I can even consult with him. I would prefer to suffer with the pain until the surgery just so I can have him do the surgery again. I wouldn't trust anyone else.
