Great first-time experience with Joey for a curly pixie on my 3b/c curls - love my cut and loved the experience! I appreciate the intention and care she put into my appointment, from helping me understand what I wanted out of my cut and sending me home with a queer spell, to being considerate about masking and airflow so that I can support the health of my immunocompromised partner.

Joey has so much talent & such incredible skill with curly hair! She also has a gift for seeing your inspiration/your vibe is & always gives me a cut that's better than I could describe or imagine (the inspo we landed on for my last cut was "older brother in a 90's film; definitely owns a van of some kind & lives by the beach"). Beyond that, she's just a lovely, whipsmart, truly funny person. I genuinely look forward to every appointment & cannot recommend her services enough!
Joey is the best!! She helped me transform my hair and I don’t even think she realizes how much of an impact it made! I’ve seen her twice now and left both experiences feeling cool and confident and more like myself. Great communication, great collaboration, and a great environment. Can’t recommend highly enough 😄
