Wonderful food, great service – Joey D's has delicious meals. Their house salad is great. I'm not a salad lover, and I loved it. It also comes with this light croissant that has honey butter drizzled on it. I've tried their filet mignon, and it's heavenly. Good wines. Candles on each table. Noisy, however, with nothing like carpet to absorb the noise. Prices aren't cheap, but the food is fabulous. Expect to pay $20 or more for your dinner. Out of the ordinary – Joey D's is just around the corner from Perimeter Mall. Fantastic food that stands apart from the usual chains. The Crawfish Bayou pasta dish is delicious. Patio dining is great during favorable weather.
QUALITY FOOD – Joey D's food is outstanding. They have the best Club Sandwich & Italian American Sub. Their steaks are quality. They have excellent Absolut Oyster Shooters and Honey Croissant appetizers. The bar is purely the largest selection of liquors I have ever seen. It is in and of itself something to talk about. Service however is lacking. Service staff are not very attentive and seem uninterested in service. For the price the service should be much better, but the food more than makes up for it. Give it a try.
worst service at Joey D's – i was with 2 colleagues at Joey D's for diner on jan 22nd, 04, recommended by Hilton. we received the worst service from our waiter: no water, one salad was forgotten, the bill was presented without inquiring if we wanted dessert. The worst was not yet over. The waiter brought in the salad when the table was full with main courses. And the salad was set at the edge of the table. This was a wonderfully yummy experience. I will definately be back! The menu says that the ribs fall off the bone and I was skeptical, but it is definately factual and they are fabulous. The salads and bread honey bread are equally tasty. Give it a try!
