Great dining experience for lunch with exceptional service! I loved the Fish & Chips w/malt and calamari.
This is old school seafood restaurant. I believe the original is in Florida. The guy who sat us at our table looked like an institution in DC. The seafood was fresh and well prepared. Fried calamari was delicious and the lobster bisque was outstanding. Smoked salmon was very good. The Caesar salad my wife had was a little small for the price, but overall very good.
Food was amazing, service was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful.
I don’t know what the hype is about. The best thing about Joe’s is the decor and architecture of an old bank. It’s beautiful. On a Friday evening, the service at the bar was poor and half full. The food was very good, but for the prices, it did not nearly exceed any expectations. Seems to me this is a place is for people who want to look trendy and be in the seen. I enjoyed Ray’s The Steaks much more. Didn’t have all the glitz but better food and value.
