I moved away two years ago and have only been back to the EAV a few times. I was overjoyed when I walked into Joe's and Mooka said, "You want your usual? Americano?" Besides that wonderful service, the coffee is great!
I love Joe's! The coffee is yummy, the staff is fun, friendly, caring. It has an amazing vibe where you can just sit back and chill - or hang out at the big table with "the group" and have a little chat party....oh, and the owners are GREAT! XO Joe's!
I really liked Joe's a lot. My hot mocha was really good. I originally asked for a frappuccino. It was odd that they said they could not make me a mocha frappuccino without explanation while other people ordered frappuccinos and they made them. It was also really hot in there.

The coffee is out of this world they guy who made it made it perfect not too sweet but enough for me to taste vanilla in my coffee i dont like drinking coffee unless i can a little flavor into it and he made perfectly just right new hangout place for me to unwind
