Dr. Williams was thorough, compassionate, and most noteworthy to me, made sure I knew the nuance of all of my options so that I could make the best decision. I really appreciate this approach to care.
Dr. Williams performed surgery on my 87 year old mother after a fall. She is very active and we had concerns about her ability to remain fully active due to the amount of damage to her smashed elbow. Post-op, after a very long surgery, Dr. Williams took the time to explain everything to us and explain what we cold expect during recovery. Dr Joel William's is a fenominal Dr. and wonderful person his whole team are absolutely awesome I had a broken femur some other dr greenburg hacked and should have his license revoked and Dr. JOEL did surgery 2 months and 6 days ago and I'm starting pt next week I would highly recommend him as and his team cannot say enough great things about them simply the best bar none
Dr Williams is a wonderful surgeon. I had a LPAO (hip reconstruction) in Jan 2020 & I'm recovering very well. His PA Jessica has been so very helpful as well. They explain everything in detail & never make you feel rushed. With this crazy time of Covid19, offices are doing the best they can with attempts to keep their patients & staff safe. Dr Williams called me to make sure I understood the plan moving forward. I'm very thankful to him & his staff!
Dr. Williams is a fantastic doctor I would refer him to everybody .I fractured my left femur in two places he put a steel plate in to help it heal. I'm so grateful to have him for my doctor he's very friendly and professional. He's so easy to talk to and listens to his patients.
I had femur repair surgery. Dr. Williams and his team has provided me with an individualized care plan before and after surgery. Dr. Williams has demonstrated passion in his work and he has continued to keep me informed and educated me regarding my treatment options and my progress. Dr. Williams and his team at Midwest Orthopedics/Rush University Hospital are amazing! January, 2019 I was in a car accident that resulted in a shattered left ankle, missing bone and open fractures of both of the bones in my leg which was nearly severed just above the ankle. He took on the challenge of putting my leg/foot back together. Great experience with Dr. Joel Williams and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. Came in for pain in my hip, diagnosed with osteoarthritis and recommended to lose at least 15 pounds to reduce possible complications during or after surgery, ended up losing 30 the healthly way over 3 and a half months. Had my surgery at Advocate Illinois Masonic with Dr. Williams and did have a complication and stayed in hospital 1 day.
