I am not an expert on Opthamology However I was dissatisfied with Doctor Nathan for the way his staff treated me. I came very late for an appointment and he fined me fifty dollars.Generally,I was dependable and his receptionist made false claims that I habitually do not show up for appointments that I have made.I never made the appointments the receptionist claimed that I made.I tried settling this matter with Doctor Nathan to no avail. I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Nathan. His dedication to patient care is truly commendable. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and his staff is equally welcoming and kind. A highly professional and recommended healthcare provider. I wish there were more healthcare professionals like him in the world!
I went to Dr. Nathan because I had spontaneously got blurry vision in my eye. the eye had had a lot of past trauma witch Nathan completely blew off after the exam he informed me that I had a detached retina and I needed surgery right away he sent me to Dr. Leon Bynoe who operated on me the next day which did not work and I had to have 4 subsequent surgeries because Dr. Bynoe was awful! I went in for a routine glaucoma exam. As a glaucoma suspect this was my 4th time going thorough this process. I found Dr. Nathan to be very knowledgeable, thorough and explained his findings with a great bed side manner. He is friendly and personable. His office staff are efficient. A great experience overall.
My cataract surgery with him was horrendous. That was in July. Here it is 4 months later and I have a loose lens, fragments of the cataract and pain. I am now in a different state and have an appointment with a well known surgeon. Stay away from him.
Okay so I always get compliments on my eyes, but according to this guy the back of my eyeballs are also a sight to behold 😂
My first visit s a recommendation due double vision in 2010. I have been returning twice a year since. I am comfortable with the testing and throw explanations of results received from Doctor Nathan. His staff is friendly and professional.
Very nice staff and the doctor was very thorough as to his findings. He didn't however make me feel like I am ok and I am going to seek another opinion. He did offer to call his office at any time and he will come into the office for an emergency all which is very good to know. He has a warm bedside manner. I just feel uneasy with his findings and want to get another opinion to having close end glaucoma.
