First of all you guys give to many reminder calls call every day or every other day. Second you guys didn't have the catheters there. I don't know who's ordering the catheters their supply or whatever. But you don't you guys don't have catheters to change my tube. That's all.
Dr. Gelman continues to do a tremendous job overseeing my care with a surprisingly good outcome!
This was just the initial consultation. Waiting for authorization from HMO for treatment.
Dr. Gelman to me appears to be an excellent dr. and surgeon. Because of his expertise, it's not surprising that he is sought after. Therefore, and probably because of his case load, seems rushed - but still very efficient. A little less rushed would be a plus for the dr. and patients
I felt very well taken care of with friendly nurses that cared for me.
Dr Gelman and associates are always very professional, supportive. In fact, everyone (receptionists, nurses, technicians), is very professional. I know I am in good hands when I visit UCI and in particular Dr Gelman.
I am a physician and had a recurrent urethral stricture unable to be managed by repeat DVIU. I sought out a top urologist with an expertise in urethroplasty surgery. I was extremely impressed by Dr. Gelman right from the start. I was across the country at the time of having a suprapubic catheter, and I had multiple calls with him to discuss my case, imaging, and best timing for surgery.
