Dr Gelman fixed my stricture after 45 years of brutal ER visits and one failed plastic surgery. Dr Gelman has a good bedside manner and instilled confidence in me regarding his ability to fix my issue. His technique to quilt a patch to enlarge the structure area is genius and worked well. It has been 10 months since surgery and I am glad to have this fixed. I am a practicing physician. Board certified in two fields of medicine. I saw this doctor and he is indifferent,arrogant and a terrible doctor. He was rude and not up to date. He treated people like animals and is a shame to the community of physicians. Please do your homework before you trust him with your life. There are many competent urologists who are awesome. Be kind to yourself and do your homework before you trust anyone caring for your health. This man is simply awful.
Dr. Gelman did a re-do surgery on me for urethral reconstruction after the first surgery, done by a different doctor, was not successful. Dr. Gelman and his staff were amazing and I have nothing but good things to say about them!

I had been suffering from major complications resulting from a urethra stricture since I was 16 years-old. I am very appreciative of Dr. Gelman. He performed two surgeries and corrected a problem I had dealt with for many years. I was extremely nervous before undergoing these procedures, as the work was very delicate in nature (Urethral Stricture.)
