Dr Holloway was able to diagnose my skin disease when 3 other doctors could not. He diagnosed my rare disease in 30 seconds. His recommended treatment helped me considerably. I read these reviews before I saw him, but my family physician recommended him. So I went and I am very glad I did. He was friendly, knowledgeable and comforting. I would go back in a heartbeat. If you want a great and intelligent physician look no further. If you want a loving, friend get a dog!
Saw him because he was the fastest to get into for a suspicious mole, should have been a red flag. He instantly decided to cut it out after 15 seconds in room and 1 question. Cut it out then left to have nurse stitch it up. Tried to ask a question and he said the nurse would answer any questions. Finally told I had melanoma after several calls. When I came back in he tossed my file on the cabinet and had the attitude of "well you have cancer now I have to answer your stupid questions"
Like most found Dr Holloway to be extremely rude and arrogant. Nurse did horrible stitching and the wound ruptured almost as soon as stitches were removed, again by a nurse, without holloway even bothering to look at it post-op. On my 4 subsequent visits to monitor the nasty, painful, gaping wound left on my wrIst, the Dr acted irritated to see me each time and asked why I was there. 6 months later the tumor has returned in the exact same spot. So what he got a black belt in 1969?
The staff were quite unfriendly and then after meeting the Dr I can see why. Although i am over 40 years old I felt like an ignorant child after I left the appt. He was rude and very short with me. A sign read new patients welcome... the first clue when I walked in. A dr in biz that long shouldn't need new patients. I only hope his diagnosis was correct
My appointment to Dr Holloway's office was for removal of a large cyst on the back of my neck. His staff and Dr Holloway did a great job on me. - Dr Holloway is a very interesting fellow. I learned that he is an 8th Degree Black Belt in Judo -which is an astonishing accomplishment- The Dr and I chatted quite a bit before and while he worked on me. My wife accompanied me on this visit and she too really enjoyed meeting Dr Holloway. We'll definitely go back to his office if needed.
Finally a smart Dr. Wish he did more than dermatology.
I get that some people like the fact that Holloway is fast and efficient. However, it comes at the cost of the patients who are merely trying to get the proper diagnoses. This man is extremely curt, has zero bedside manner, doesn't ask questions, and he definitely won't answer any of your questions. He is one of those physicians who has already diagnosed you before he's even seen you. If you do attempt to even politely tell him about a symptom, he cuts you off with snide remark. Total jerk.
I had a lipoma removed on my upper arm in Oct 2014. It was not healing and was red and inflamed. I went back in Oct. 2015, one year later. He barely glanced at it and told me to stop picking it and walked out of the room. I went to another doctor in July 2016 and she discovered a stitch was left in the wound. It is in the healing stages now. Two years of a wound trying to heal. Dr. Holloway is rude and very unprofessional. Terrible bed side manner. Would not recommend!
The Dr. was terrible and his wart removal procedure is painful and very ineffective. It grew back in a month and it took 3-4 weeks to heal. He has a strange policy that you must turn off your cell phone when in the room with him and I suppose it's because he doesn't want any outsider to know how terrible he is. Giant waste of time and money I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.
