He actually drove out to my grandfather's farm and diagnosed one of our chimpanzees with this! An amazing man and I will always be grateful to him. He is a sharp and critical thinker and as other commenters have alluded to not overly warm and friendly. If you are stupid you probably won't get along with him and should go elsewhere anyway. If you are looking for warm and friendly, I don't know, get a dog?
I haven’t been to Dr, Holloway in about a year. He has been my doctor for over forty years. I would trust his judgment without hesitation.
My experience has always been amazing with Dr. Holloway. I had a skin condition, went to several doctors who couldn’t figure it out. He took one look at it and provided a solution and lo and behold it worked. He is truly the best at what he does. My dad has gone to him for many years as well.
I’ve seen Dr. Holloway several times and he’s been consistently rude and condescending every time. I don’t think he has a compassionate bone in his body. He acts put out if you have any questions. I will never use him again!

Called to make an appointment asking for the earliest they had. Was told they had a slot for the the first appointment of the day later that week so I booked it. I pre-filled my paperwork out before arriving. Got there 5 minutes before they opened at 9:00 jumped through all the regular hoops then sat down to wait to be called. 15 minutes go by nothing. By this time there were other patients that had come in. Now it's 9:25 and Joel Holloway walks in. Yes he just got to work and had a waiting room
I have been going to Dr. Holloway for twenty plus years! Also, he has treated members of my family! I personally think Dr. Holloway is GREAT! He is very knowledgable in everything he does! He has ALWAYS been nice to my family and me! This is why I'm going to see him tomorrow for at least the 20th plus time in my life. I have also ran into him at local restaurants etc. Again, always nice!! His staff ALWAYS will find a slot to get you in the office for a visit instead of making you wait wee
Horrible, horrible man. He was so rude, disrespectful and belittling. He made me feel like I caused my skin condition by scratching and I never did learn what was wrong. This man should not be allowed to practice medicine, let alone interact with human beings. I would give zero stars if I could.
Have been a patient of Dr. Holloway’s for over 10 yrs. The man is brilliant! He has immense knowledge, experience and skills in dermatology and stays abreast of new technologies and treatments. I’ve had some fairly uncommon skin issues; Dr. Holloway has quickly and accurately diagnosed them all, unlike other dermatologists I’ve visited. He’s seen just about everything skin related in his long career. He’s a man of relatively few words, but I always enjoy my time with him. I think he’s awesome!
