I was sent to Dr. Turner for hyperparathyroidism. As it turned out, I needed a parathyroidectomy and was scheduled for surgery in a very timely manner which was to my liking. Surgery was 10 days ago and my follow-up was today. All is fine per Dr. Turner. Follow-up blood work is ordered for a month after surgery. The whole process was swift, efficient and non stressful. All of the hospital staff were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Dr. Turner and the GBMC.
Excellent surgeon and explained everything very clearly
I was so pleased to have chosen Dr. Turner for my Thyroid operation. Everything went very smooth and it's been over 3 months since the procedure and I am doing great! I highly recommend Dr. Turner if you need to have your thyroid removed. Thank you Dr. Turner for everything.

Excellent experience with Dr. Joel Turner. I had to have my gallbladder removed over the holidays and he explained, in detail, the procedure and what I could expect afterwards. Everything turned out as expected.
I went to Dr. Turner based on recommendations from family and friends. I'd had several gallbladder attacks and was really in a lot of pain. ER's had noted the gallbladder issue but discharged me multiple times, and a visit to a GI doctor was not helpful. Dr. Turner assessed me and my previous labs and immediately scheduled me for surgery. My procedure went very well, he explained everything and was very kind and professional. I will recommend him to my family and friends
He explains everything clearly and makes you feel at ease. He always called you in a timely manner when he received test results. All staff members were friendly. Wait time was minimal. Best part is he has a service dog that will sometimes go into patients rooms.
